Back in August I had the pleasure of meeting up with Leslie to create some gorgeous maternity portraits for her as she’s expecting their first baby (a surprise!) in October. She is really such a joy to be around and we had a wonderful time trying new ideas, finding gorgeous light, and getting to know each other. I’m really excited to see what she has, I guessed a girl but we’ll see! I totally admire their ability to wait to find out, I don’t think I could do it if it ever were me! She’s such a gorgeous young woman that adding a bump to her just gave her such an incredible glow. We went down to the River Market in downtown Kansas City because it just has so many fun little nooks and crannies. The weather, well it was August so it was hot but we had a little breeze to make it bearable. The light? Agh, so gorgeous, the perfect accent to this gorgeous momma-to-be!
