This little girl means the world to her family. And she means the world to me. Well, she pretty much means the world to anyone who knows her, even if she just smiles at you.

This is my girl Kenley Rae from her newborn session a few months ago (we’ve been taking monthly photos every month too as she’s part of the Ultimate Baby Plan).

Now here’s the fun part. The kid is practically named after me.  Okay, not really, but I was the one who found and suggested the name Kenley to her momma because it just sounded interesting, cool, but not weird (important ya know!). Her momma LOVED IT and worked on picking out a middle name. Originally she was going to use a variation of Ray & Lynn, but it was too close to a name I have picked out on my short list if/when we have a baby boy. So she axed it (only a bestie would do that, love her!) and so she texts me one night and says “well, what do you think of Kenley RAE?” And I told her I LOVED Kenley Rae. And so her name was picked out before she was born. (I’m sure Daddy had some say…)

When telling Momma just how much I LOVED the name Rae, I left out the part that RAE just so happened to be my middle name too. You know, didn’t want to bias her or anything. Sigh, it was meant to be. I spilled the beans on Kenley’s birth day. Haha, thanks for naming your kid after me! (not really, but I like to think so!)

So when sweet little miss was 5 days new, I spent a quiet Saturday morning hanging out and capturing her sweetness. (Quiet because Dad had the 6 older brothers and sisters out of the house! Ha!).

And when Kenley had enough of me messing with her sweet slumber, I made sure to get some of these… my faves…

 And a special little something of Kenley’s feet that I’m getting on canvas (sans watermark of course, haha!)… I’ll be sure to show you the end result when it comes in!!
