What types of sessions do you photograph? Anything that you don’t shoot?
Maternity, Birth, Hospital Birth.Day sessions, Newborns, Baby’s First Year including Cake Smashes, and families. I also do free NICU sessions. In the Spring I have two free annual kids photo contests, Rock the Tutu is for girls 0-2 and Rock My Tie is for boys 0-2. It’s a great way to meet me, see how I photograph children and have a chance to win a free family session!
I don’t shoot seniors, engagements, weddings, boudoir, or couples only. If you are looking for those and need a referral, I’d be happy to send you some.
What’s included?
Packages are the best way to bundle sessions together and get some product too, such as Belly to Baby and First Week packages. Individual session fees are separate from products unless I’m having a sale or giveaway that indicates something is included. Session fees are listed on my Pricing page and please email me for my pricing guides on both print and digital products.
How do we see our photos after our session?
I offer full service in-person proofing. Approximately 2-3 weeks after the date of your session, I’ll come to your home to proof your images with you to help you visualize how you can use your images and you can order at that time or plan future orders. You can look at physical samples of albums and products as well. If additional time is needed for decisions, an online gallery is made available for short term viewing after the proofing session.
When we order prints or albums, do you charge a delivery fee or do we have to pick up from you?
I personally deliver all products to the clients home within the KC metro at no additional charge.
How do you sell your digital files?
Digital image purchases are made available via instant download only from a private password protected gallery. This is a much more streamlined process and allows you to share with family & friends a lot easier. CDs or DVDs were discontinued in 2011 and if you prefer a flash drive, you may purchase one if needed.
I’ve seen a lot of photographers require a minimum order amount. Do you have one?
Nope, no minimum order requirement! So no matter your budget, you can afford to have me as your photographer.
What methods of payment do you accept?
Cash, Check, and Mastercard/Visa. Payment plans are available if requested at no additional charge.
Do you have a deadline for ordering after our session?
Again, nope! You can take as long as you need to order though product prices are always taken at current studio prices at the time of the order. So if you need to reorder from an archived session, you totally can and there’s NO CHARGE to do it, even two years down the road for example. For archived session ordering, it is always done in person and an online gallery will not be provided, so please be aware of that.
What are your privacy policies?
All clients are required to sign a full model release. I usually only share on my blog some favorites and if you are on Facebook, I will upload a few to tag you in so you can share. Otherwise everything is password protected. If you absolutely do not want your child’s image online, totally fine. I have many families who have chosen to keep their images private and there’s no charge for it.
How far out are you booked?
I run my business full time and keep a flexible schedule. While there’s no guarantee I’ll be available, I welcome any inquiry no matter how short notice it may be, all you need to do is ask!
Why should we hire you as our photographer?
Why shouldn’t you hire me? I am OCD on details, I have spent thousands of hours on my education, I always strive to do more and try more, I’ve been told I’m pretty fun and customer service is my top priority. I pride myself on the excellence of my work, been nationally published for my birth photography, and absolutely love love LOVE what I do.
