My favorite event of the year! This was my 7th year volunteering for St. NICU day in the NICU at Overland Park Regional Medical Center here in Overland Park, KS and it’s always so much fun! Dr. Rob Holcomb, one of the beloved neonatologists in the unit, dons the red suit every year for this day! He visits all the NICU units in the HCA hospitals in the area and I join in at OPR for photos. Such a jolly good time! Truly the best and so happy that parents whose babies are in the hospital won’t miss out on their first Christmas with Santa photos, such a treasure to give! Thank you to the hospital, staff, and Circle of Hope for help in collaborating on this fun event!
